Jade holds an MFA in Fiction from Vermont College of Fine Arts and an MS in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine. As a freelance writer, Jade has written for publications like Trail Runner Magazine, San Diego Magazine, Ultrarunning Magazine, and AdventuresNW. Check out some of her published work here.
When not writing, Jade works with athletes at Lightfoot Coaching. She holds several FKTs and has won and podiumed at ultramarathons from the 50K to 100-mile distance. You can learn more about her running here. She is currently sponsored by Topo Athletic and Injinji.
Jade lives in California with her husband and their 21 animals, most of whom are rescues or foster failures.
