Jade is a professional trail runner for Altra. She holds an MFA in Fiction from Vermont College of Fine Arts and an MS in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine. As a freelance writer, Jade has written for publications like Trail Runner Magazine, San Diego Magazine, Ultrarunning Magazine, and AdventuresNW. Check out some of her published work here.
When not writing, Jade works with athletes at Lightfoot Coaching. She holds several FKTs and has won and podiumed at a variety of distances, from VKs to 100-mile races. You can learn more about her running here.
Jade lives in British Columbia, along with her husband and their 18 animals, all of whom are rescues or foster failures.
